Virtual Field Trip
Hey 6th grade music students, once you have completed your Virtual Field Trip to visit the San Francisco Symphony, post to the blog your favorite part of the website using at least two (2) complete sentences. Don't forget to tell your families about Yo-Yo Ma the world famous cellist. Two additional unique things to remember are: Osmo Vanska is the conductor of the Minnesota Orchestra, and (I'm not making this up) Iccolo Miccolo played the piccolo in the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

I learned that the triangle is a percussion instrument that is made of metal. I think that the sound of the cello is really cool. It is low and mellow but can also play high notes. I did not know that the bassoon had such a unique sound. I really enjoyed visiting this website. I may even try to visit this website at home.
I liked the radio so that you can listen to differnt peices of music. Then i liked the performalator so that you can play like the piano but on the computer. I liked the site it was very educating.
I learned that a flute is a metal instrument. I think that the sound is really cool because it is soft and high. I also found out that the composer has a tough job to do when performing at concerts. I had a blast looking at the website. I may even mention this to my friens and family.
My favorite thing in the website was perfromalator were you got to play the music on the keyboard which I though was clever. I also liked tempo were it played it on very slow, slow, medium ect. I liked it because it gave examples for each one like slow- walking pace, medium- heartbeat, and fast- running speed and things like that. Well, that's all I have to say about the website, it was really fun.
I liked the pitch and composer. The pitch was fun because you could make songs with the pitch. also i leared about the letters in the pitch. The other thing i liked was the compeser. The composer was great. You got to find different tepos and beats. This website was very cool i liked this and i would show some of my friends.
I think that the performalatorwas really cool because you get to play on a virtual piano. The radio was also awesome because I heard some songs I never knew existed. I will definetly tell my friends about this site.
My favorite part was the performalator because it was fun to play songs like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and row your boat. My favorite song was Twinkle Twinkle Little Star because it was easy to play and it was relaxing and it actually felt like I was playing the piano
I think that the sit was fun. When I went home I went on the site.it was pretty fun.
I loved that site and my favorite part was the tempo because you could make the guy on the drums sweat when you did very fast.
I liked the performalater cause you could play the piano with the mouse on the computer.and I liked the and i also like the tempo were you could go very slow,slow,fast then very fast my favorite insturment is the cello cause it can go both high and low.
